Systems Engineer
CurrentAs a Systems Engineer specializing in the development of autonomous vehicles for both commercial and military applications, I design, integrate, and test systems for tasks such as Foreign Object Debris (FOD) removal, sweeping, mowing, and perimeter security. My role involves extensive work with various robots and vehicles, ensuring that all components function seamlessly together.I create and optimize component build-outs, ensuring that each part functions efficiently within the vehicle's system.I design and implement wiring harnesses that meet required specifications and ensure the reliable performance of autonomous vehicles.I conduct rigorous testing and validation of autonomous systems to ensure they meet safety, reliability, and performance standards.I work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions.I provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise during the deployment and operational phases of autonomous vehicles.- Proven experience in the development and integration of autonomous systems or robotic applications.- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring harness design, and component integration.- Proficiency with 3D Software for Additive Manufacturing and other design tools used in system and component development.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.- Experience working on both commercial and military projects.
