Full-Stack Software Engineer based in Auckland, New Zealand, with two years of experience developing and optimizing web and desktop enterprise applications. Proficient with Vue, .NET, WPF, and T-SQL. My journey in software development began during my time as an educator. During this time I had been learning coding as a hobby, II successfully identified and implemented solutions that enhanced students' mathematics learning, creating a custom web React web application that utilized selenium to collect and display data for students to track mathematics progress and automate common workflows. In this role, I also excelled in applying my knowledge of computers and cybersecurity to guide students on their path to becoming digital citizens. Driven by a passion for developing software that makes a difference, I became a freelance software developer after attaining my Teacher's License in late 2022. I implemented local and international front-end solutions for small businesses and individuals with React, HTML5 and Tailwind CSS. The biggest highlight in this role was supporting a small restaurant, to increase customer sales and SEO, through a custom-made website. In June 2023 I began my next step as a Full-Stack Developer at Canary Data Solutions. Every day has new challenges and opportunities assisting with day-to-day operations, in between contributing to and leading projects for custom enterprise software developed for a wide range of industries and solutions. Key accomplishments include transforming legacy software from Visual Basic (.VB) to XAML and C#, upgrading customers' SQL databases schemas to allow smooth deployment of this application, engineering a web application to replace an Excel pricing calculator and integrating task management software and accounting software through APIs enabling a business to be more efficient.
