I lived and worked all over the United States (including the Republic of South Korea), I ended my twenty year career at Eielson Air Force base, Alaska in 2008. I am thankful to receive many prestigious awards including the Air Force Equal Opportunity Technician of the Year and the Air Force National IMAGE Enlisted Member of the Year for my contributions to the Hispanic community.I was hired in 2008 by the Bureau of Land Management in Alaska as an Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist and Affirmative Training Manager for Fairbanks, AK. I am presently working as the Alaska Bureau of Land Management State Equal Employment Opportunity Manager.I received my college degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Education, Wayland Baptist University and a Masters of Education in Psychology, as well as, graduate certificate in Advanced Negotiations and Mediation, from the Mendoza School of Business/ Notre Dame University. I recently completed two programs in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School.Currently I am part of the Alaska Bureau of Land Management Equal Employment Opportunity Team, a team that improves the life of people by creating opportunity.I also spend time teaching Diversity classes, Mediating conflicts and handling EEO complaints. I am most proud that my presentations have inspired hundreds of people and that my mediation's have helped many people with improving their lives.
