BIOGRAPHYMy name is Robert Panter I live in New York, New York at the present time. I have lived in the New York area for the past 39 years. The land of my birth is Jamaica of Ethiopian descent. The land of my birth is Jamaica of Ethiopian descent. I am studying Graphic Arts here at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online division. At a young age I knew I wanted to be a part of the entertainment business. I first enrolled at John Bowne High School in Queens, New York majoring in Communication Arts. After completing high school, I enrolled at New York Institute of Technology at Old Westbury, New York campus studying Film and Video Production. I graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts. I worked at various television and theatre projects, wearing many hats gaining experience as production assistant, producer and director.In working on my first music video, title “I Can’t Do it Alone” as co-producer and director for the record label Delta Omega 1990 while Delta Records, I became involved with the music world. Later in 1994 I created “Reggae Vibrations” a music video magazine program that was broadcasted on Paragon Cable of New York City now known as Time Warner Cable. This venture gave me access to major company such as Virgin Records, Time Warner and PolyGram Records. In 1996 I produced and directed Jamie Irie in “M-16” a music video for the record label Pash Records (www.pashrecords.com) a company I created. Show less
