Armstrong Fluid Technology (UK & France & German entities) - c.£55 million t/o• Currently leading the finance department reporting to group overseas finance & operations director• Management of the finance team (comprising apprentice & transactional & part-qualified)• Production of monthly management accounts (4 day-close)• Cash flow forecasting & working capital management (including treasury duties & risk mitigation)• Management of credit insurance policy• Balance sheet management• Extensive cost accounting experience (revenue & cost-of-sales, standard costing & "BOMS" & variances)• Inter-group reconciliation's & billing & payment • Cost-centre reports: investigation of variances & implement corrective action• Responsible for fixed asset control• Administration of invoice discounting facility (inc. audits)• Responsible for HMRC compliance (inc. audits) : PAYE & NI/VAT/CIS/Intrastat/EC Sales • Management of UK and foreign payrolls (France, Germany, Dubai) – c. 225 employees• Preparation of the audit pack & lead during the audit field work through to completion• UK & export debtors / creditors management• Approval of customer credit accounts & terms of sales (inc. Inco-terms)• Pension scheme management & TPR compliance• Strong system & software proficiency / experience – particularly Microsoft Excel & BAAN (ERP system)• Projects completed: o IR35 project member - risk assessment, technical guidance & successful solution implementation o Successful post-merger & acquisition integration - implemented through existing resource o Change in payroll providers, transfer from weekly to monthly & change in payroll date o Review & change in pension providers & implementation of Auto-Enrolment o Upgrade & migration of online banking platform
