Responsible for oversight of all hub operations.Sets up doors for hub operations.Checks outbound freight going to Cleveland, Erie, Columbus, Toledo, Cincinnati, Harrisburg, Hagerstown, Baltimore, South Plainfield, and Spring City.Records operational data such as the amount of time it takes a specific dock worker to unload a trailer and reports on bills per hour and other operational goals.Checks-in drivers and dispatches line haul drivers.Oversees stripping and loading of freight.Reviews all freight tracking numbers that have not been manifested in the computer to ensure all due freight has been shipped overnight. Manages dock workers hours to minimize overtime. Oversees loading of trailers for city dispatch.Ensures dock workers are loading according to the planned routeInspects freight on dock to verify proper staging.Records any overages, shortages, or damages to freight.Motivates dock workers to stay on task and push for operational success. Reports to Terminal Manager any problems or issues that may be occurring on the dock.Evaluates our processes to see if there are any delays in the operations that could be eliminated.Tracks drivers departures from the GPS on their tablets to ensure all morning appointments are made.
