Bob Parr is the Chief Data Officer for KPMG US Advisory and Global ESG. His mission is to inspire and support KPMG’s focus to become more data driven in how the firm serves its clients, people and communities.As the Chief Data Officer for the US Advisory practice, Bob works closely with KPMG teams to integrate a data-driven approach into their services and offerings. Bob leads the Advisory Data Organization (ADO) focused on enabling Advisory teams to innovate with and apply data and analytics to differentiate KPMG services and create new sources of value for clients. The ADO has expanded the use of KPMG data assets, deepening the firm’s data and insights driven culture. And in the US, the ADO introduced Data Citizens with Purpose® to give KPMG professionals an opportunity to apply their new data and analytics skills through pro-bono, data-driven services to non-profits. In its first year, KPMG professionals brought a data first approach to help more than 80 nonprofit organizations across the country address a broad range of social, inclusion, diversity and environmental issues.In addition to his US role, Bob began as the Global ESG Chief Data Officer on October 1, 2021. In his global role, Bob will enable KPMG teams to meet the demand for ESG Data. Bob has more than 25 years of experience in the Financial Services industry leading strategy for two top tier US banks and while serving in KPMG’s Consulting Division helped Chief Data Officers build data driven cultures. He has a strong track record of designing and implementing change to organizations, processes, and data management /governance tools required to transform CDO organizations and their impact on the businesses they support.
