Responsible to the Director of Nuclear Environment, Safety and Quality, Marine and Technology for providing assurance that all planning and operations undertaken at the DRDL site are planned and executed to the required standards of Nuclear Safety, Radiological Safety, Health & Safety and Environmental Protection legislation.

Nuclear site management, operation and decommissioning of three prototype reactor sites - Douglas Point, Gentilly-1 and Nuclear Power Demonstration; Project Manager for decommissioning and land remediation of AECL's former Heavy Water Production plant, Glace Bay in Nova Scotia, a $6m project over two years.From first principles, developed the strategy and associated plans for accelerated decommissioning of the prototype reactor sites. A programme of work that would see all three sites decommissioned by 2036, producing a total acceleration of 36 years with an associated cost saving of some $150m in Storage with Surveillance (Care and Maintenance) costs.
