Currently working in the lab of Dr. Burcin Ekser at Indiana University School of Medicine and Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine to research donor-specific antibody-mediated rejection within liver transplantation. In the past we have researched the use of Artificial Intelligence in detecting hepatic steatosis in liver biopsies, evaluated AI programs on accuracy in evaluating pre-operative biopsies, and analyzed liver function test results to predict the presence of early allograft dysfunction in post-operative liver transplant patients. More recently, we evaluated the use of artificial intelligence and virtual reality in post-operative and general rehabilitation.

Worked with Dr. Nipun Chopra at DePauw University conducting various experiments regarding detection and suppression of the S100B protein using the Sk-Mel-28, A375, NIH-3T3 cell lines.

Worked with Dr. Sabrina Absalon of the IU School of Medicine to edit the Malaria parasite genome to unveil novel protein function.

Research analyzed whether nitinol staples, when inset into bone via cortical notching, in an olecranon osteotomy can provide fixation strength sufficient for daily activities. Conducted at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center.
