Rob Pearce is an independent board director and seasoned energy executive with over 30 years of varied business experience in the areas of general management, corporate development, debt and equity finance, strategy and planning. He has held various for profit and not-for-profit director positions and is now focused on board activities. He was until recently a Director of Jupiter Resources (now sold) and is currently a Director of ATB Financial and the Chair of Prospect Human Services. He was the CFO of two junior oilsands developers as well as the COO of a foreign-owned, integrated energy producer. Mr. Pearce was the first CEO and co-founder of North West Upgrading (now NorthWest Refining) where he led a team developing an independent upgrader/refinery, now operating, to add value to Alberta’s growing oilsands sector. He served as Treasurer of PanCanadian Energy and was an energy investment banker for several years. Mr. Pearce holds the ICD.D designation, has a BASc in Geological Engineering and an MBA in Finance.
