Currently supervising a team of four analyst and two temporaries reposonsible for reviewing the advertsing/marketing material of the company, its agents and agencies. High volume, collaborative work requiring an attention to detail.

Review all marketing and advertising materials (brochures, websites, social media, letters, e-mails, stationery, etc.,) produced by our agents and/or home office for compliance with state and/or company requirements.

Provided ongoing monitoring of regulatory developments and conducted in-depth analysis of impending changes to state laws and regulations for product lines within nine states. Accountable for preparing detailed reports, maintaining compliance materials, authoring detailed synopses of legislation/regulations and disseminating changes on an expedited basis to affected business units.Continually reviewed corporate policy/procedure to ensure compliance and monitor exception reports to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability/risk. Served as an internal resource regarding guideline interpretation and participate in/prepare for regulatory exams. Worked closely with various business units to formulate responses to Department of Insurance inquiries and market conduct exams.

Coordinated daily team assignments and served as team training and knowledge liaison. Communicated extensively with clients and field office personnel to ensure the suitability of variable annuity sales. Processed loan and allocation changes. Tested computer systems whenever new variable products or enhancements were introduced.Selected Highlights Asked by upper management to participate in an executive-level risk assessment meeting with emphasis on forms review. Prevented a computer application system defect by testing original computer system and identifying a limitation in the tracking of variable annuities sales. Company was able to create an alternative system prior to rollout.
