Passionate manager with significant experience in demanding roles and responsibilities. Qualified and competent in all areas of health and safety including construction and process management. Actively involved in health and safety management with responsibilities in providing expert guidance to the Blackpool Council’s leisure management team. Additional responsibilities in direct line management of a large leisure team, meeting marketing deadlines and providing excellent customer service experiences. Currently responsible for a team who have successfully broken council records in membership sales and member retention. Experience with health and safety audits and inspections with an extensive experience in the implementation of new safety procedures and policies. Fully qualified and competent in the running and demands of leisure centres including; Qualified and skilled in a plant room both wet and dry site and trained in business management and admin roles. Involved in setting monthly, quarterly and annual targets for health and safety performance, sales and budgets. Currently handling process management on a day to day running swimming pools with a large plant and control room. Responsible for quality control in water testing and other areas of the leisure centres. Involved in ensuring the centres meet council financial budgets and direct management of all maintenance required on site. Strong civils and groundworks knowledge and experience, holds an up to date knowledge of health and safety practices and procedures with two years’ experience working on a construction site.
