Senior Wetland Regulatory Scientist
Current- Prepare various state and federal environmental permit applications to obtain CWA Section 404 and Section 10 RHA of 1899 permits, RWQCB 401 WQC, CDFG 1602 Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreements, and BCDC permits.
- Prepare EPA 404(b)(1) Alternatives Analysis and coordinate with EPA to obtain 401 WQC for Native American Sovereign Nations.
- Prepare jurisdictional delineations in accordance with USACE 1987 Wetland Delineation Manual, Regional Supplements and Rapanos/SWANCC analysis.
- Prepare mitigation plans in accordance with USACE “Compensatory Mitigation For Losses of Aquatic Resources” rule, and determine mitigation ratios using CRAM assessments, and Corps of Engineer’s SOP for Determining.
- Prepare Bank Enabling Instrument and participate in Interagency Review Team meetings for Mitigation Banks.
- Prepare project proposals and budgets. Manage subcontractors conducting protocol surveys. Manage, mentor and train staff.
