My role within this company is as a Survey Engineer/Party Chief, I am responsible for providing positioning and sonar survey information to Tow Masters and Clients for rig move’s, anchor handling and offshore construction operations as well as being the first point of contact for clients and company representatives my responsibilities include organising co-workers shift patterns and overseeing projects to ensure quality control and final rig positioning all relevant paperwork and reporting, I have also taken part in dimensional surveys on platforms and rigs to verify offsets and establish control points to be used and referenced to, I have experience with many different kinds of software including but not limited to Trimble HydroPRO, AutoCAD, Eiva Navi-Pac, Verify QC, C-Nav and Kongsberg Hi-Pap systems and many different versions of sonar software.
