Since June 2007, he has been working exclusively in the field of employment law, helping clients with the full range of employment law issues.Robert regularly advises on immigration and recruitment issues, contracts of employment, employment policies and procedures, unfair dismissal, redundancy procedures, discrimination complaints, compromise agreements, implications of the TUPE Regulations 2006 and trade union recognition procedures.Based in Aberdeen, Robert’s recent experiences have involved advisory in a range of contentious employment law matters. These include representing clients at a number of Employment Tribunals throughout Scotland, dealing with unlawful deductions from wages, sex and race discrimination complaints, redundancy dismissals and disputes following a change of contractor under the TUPE Regulations 2006.Robert has also delivered in-depth training to clients on the Equality Act 2010 and informative seminars on employment law.
