Recruited to oversee power plant / electrical equipment inspections, troubleshooting issues to support combustion turbine and hydro-electric power plants throughout MI, OH, PA, and NJ. Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain engineering project details and quality standards. Serve as Safety Lead, coordinating with all contractors and plant personnel in tagging out medium and low voltage equipment. Conduct equipment inspections, performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting electrical / mechanical equipment to support 700 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant. Maintain communication with project managers, reporting on data trends and recommending appropriate fixes to ensure successful launch. Key Accomplishments:** Served as member of team responsible for commissioning new 700 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant.** Played key role in developing and maintaining component Electrical Health Studies to ensure reliable, safe operations of Generators, Motors, Transformers, and Circuit Breakers. ** Implemented innovative processes to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, interacting directly with customers to provide high-level technical assistance thus reducing equipment failures. ** Supervise installation of special electrical construction projects, including generator step-up transformer change-outs, generator stator re-winds, and new plant control systems.

Interfaced with diverse range of clients to complete variety of sophisticated consultative projects, including Power Systems Studies, ARC FLASH calculations, coordination for installation of clients medium and low voltage switchgear. Provided technical leadership in establish project requirements and defined performance standards which improved efficiency and performance of clients power system equipment.Key Accomplishment:** Severed as point of contact in troubleshooting all electrical / electronic issues using SKM PTW software, working closing with all project vendors / supplies to ensure on time completion of component changes.

Directed power equipment technicians regarding repair and maintenance of 40 kV live tank circuit breakers / vacuum switches and power transformers at various DTE Energy substations. Interfaced with substation and plant personnel to establish project requirements and ensure new equipment met and complied with all ANSI and IEEE testing standards. Coordinated communication between engineers and contractors to install, troubleshoot, and resolve power equipment issues, authoring reports as needed. Key Accomplishments:** Hand-selected by management team to oversee and direct equipment procurement process during selection and design of substation equipment retro-fits. ** Led process to evaluate and review manufacturers certified test data, approving use and installation of new emergency power systems at Belle River, Monroe, and St Clair Power Plants. ** Played key role in maintaining safe work environment, training personnel on how to troubleshoot mechanical / equipment issues and determining root cause failures for 40 kV vacuum switches. ** Successfully created, developed, and implemented new testing procedures for removing and returning vacuum switches to full service operations.
