Beginning in 2006 Rob served as Chief Executive Officer for 15 years at ChristianWorks for Children and currently is Chief Advancement Officer. Rob provides direction, aligns resources, and creates a safe and loving environment for children and families who participate each year in the variety of programs offered to demonstrate God’s goodness. Programs provide help for today, healing from the past and hope for the future. They include support groups, licensed therapists and social workers, camps, adoption placement and international orphan care. He is dedicated to creating an environment where team members feel supported and self-motivated in their work. His business, military, church and nonprofit leadership experience has contributed to growing ChristianWorks adding 5 new programs, growth in revenues and increase in net assets.Prior to serving at ChristianWorks, Rob finished a 36-year business career as the Executive Vice President of a Fortune 1000 Corporation. He has worked for an international CPA firm, a Fortune 500 Company, and 27 years with a team growing a 20-million-dollar company to a billion-dollar company. His business experience includes manufacturing operations, logistics support, human resources, sales, marketing, accounting and product development. Rob also served eight years active and reserve duty in the U.S. Army attaining the rank of Captain. Family, church and community involvement has always been an important component to his life. Rob is married for over 50 years with three children and five grandchildren. He has served as an elder in two church congregations, one in Alabama and one Texas. Rob is founder and President of Enterprise Christian Ministry involved in ministry work in Ghana and Cambodia.He has served in the past on the board of directors for Christian Care Centers, Inc. (2002 – 2015) Dallas Christian Schools (1996 – 2004), the YMCA (1989 – 1993), and the Association of Nonwoven Fabrics Industry (2001 – 2004).Rob believes “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23, 24.
