Its high-quality hematite ore averages around 68 percent iron with very low levels of sulphur and phosphorous. The unique operation excavates at 35m below sea level, protected by an artificial sea wall. Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities and accountabilities are broad and include:► Registered Alternate Operations Manager► Implementation of organisational structure, asset and operational development plans (short, medium and long term)► Responsible for the health and safety all personnel on the remote operation including the mine, processing and accommodation facilities area► Leading the provision, management and maintenance of all Fixed and Mobile producing assets and non-production Infrastructure► Responsible owner of the Licence to Operate and all associated risk management processes ► Day to day management responsibilities for whole of operation. Reporting to the Asset Manager of FPSO Fleet, providing specialist services in subsea/floating structure interface, turret and reconnection systems, core functional responsibilities included (but were not limited to): ► Immediate intervention and advanced management of people, processes and operations for emerging “Major Consequence” (and above) risks to the facility or business, and was assigned sensitive regulatory, safety, productivity or environmental risks, beyond the capacity or capabilities of the companies “Central Engineering Function”► Environment was one of high performance and high urgency requiring advanced interfacing, negotiation, engineering, coordination and multi-disciple engineering to resolve unbudgeted, unplanned issues► Team outcomes consistently achieved top quartile performance in safety, operations and maintenance life cycle costing, environmental impact, reputation and branding, as well as social and/or industrial development.⇨ Mitigated a potential loss of 18 months production for an offshore facility (US$180MM) and US$4.5MM on unbudgeted repair costs by self-managing the rectification of a subsea Electrical Swivel, with the saving enabling the central engineering function to meet internal cost saving initiatives, and earned a session of acclaim from the SVP of Operations - project management techniques I employed to enable success included maintaining concurrent and high intensity work fronts, fast tracking simultaneous solutions and competitive procurement opportunities⇨ Mitigated a SEVERE consequence incident and avoided a potential 4 month facility operational outage (US$60MM) through effective project planning and fast tracking 2 independent execution concepts (Safety Case double-round submissions), and the offshore 5.5" reconnect wire (Safety Critical Equipment) was replaced while the FPSO production facility remained on-station.
Project Manager – Production And Projects Group Fpso Fleet
