▪ Lead the entire Broadcasting division, driving the overall strategy, direction and management and aligning the department’s goals with Woodbine Entertainment’s mission and vision, ensuring effective planning and execution.▪ Manage all live programming, including simulcast signals from Woodbine and Woodbine Mohawk Park, HPItv, regulatory coverage, and network production.▪ Develop and implement strategic plans for operations, network broadcasting, live racing coverage from multiple locations, and the 24/7 HPItv cable channel.▪ Responsible for business development, assessing return on investments, revenues and expenses as well as developing and managing capital and operational budgets for the department, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ensuring priorities are in the line with the strategy and direction of the organization.▪ Ensure the creation and delivery of high-caliber live network sports broadcasts and pre-produced content, enhancing viewer engagement.▪ Collaborate with network and corporate partners to elevate the Woodbine Entertainment brand through strategic content distribution and partnerships.▪ Lead a cross-functional team of 50+, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient delivery of broadcast services and content.▪ Develop strategies to boost audience engagement, betting opportunities, and revenue across various broadcast platforms.▪ Work with all business units to support customer engagement and enhance video and television content.▪ Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and excellence.

▪ Act as the second in command to the VP of Broadcast, assisting in the strategic management and operational oversight of the entire Broadcast Department.▪ Oversee all production and operational elements of simulcast signals, network broadcast productions and HPItv, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality output.▪ Produce and direct live thoroughbred broadcast coverage for network partners, ensuring engaging and informative content.▪ Manage and supervise live standardbred broadcast coverage for network partners, maintaining high standards of presentation and storytelling.▪ Drive the development and execution of compelling stories and content for both network and simulcast coverage, enhancing viewer engagement and content relevance.▪ Oversee performance management for Simulcast and Network coverage teams, including setting objectives, evaluating performance, and fostering continuous improvement.

▪ Produce all live thoroughbred network-partner broadcast coverage, including building rundowns, creating content pieces, directing hosts, and ensuring a cohesive and engaging presentation of live events.▪ Supervise all live standardbred network-partner broadcast coverage, overseeing production elements and maintaining high standards for content delivery and viewer engagement.▪ Drive the narrative and content strategy for both network and simulcast coverage, crafting compelling stories and ensuring the seamless integration of content across platforms to enhance audience engagement and viewership.

Spearhead the creation of detailed rundowns and execute the live Sportsnet News program for multiple time zones (Pacific, West, Ontario, East), ensuring timely and accurate delivery of content.▪ Direct and oversee the live news crew and all production elements, including the management of fonts, graphics, and playback of highlight packs, ensuring a polished and cohesive broadcast.▪ Craft compelling scripts for hosts, enhancing the clarity and impact of news segments and features.▪ Develop and produce engaging feature pieces and highlight packs for broadcast, contributing to the overall quality and appeal of Sportsnet News.
