• Working with many of the departments within the MCCA I gather specs, create design documentation, implement the design and train users on the final site.• Our Guest Service Associates carried pages of information about events going on in the building. I created a .NET mobile web app. that would display on an iPad that eliminated their paper version. It also allows updates to information real time.• External contractors can now download all construction plans. The .NET web site records any contractors who download a plan so emails can be sent notifying contractors if the plans were updated. This initiative saved MCCA $15,000 in printing alone.• Working with our public safety team I redesigned an old Access database that was used to maintain parking information. Any public safety officer has the ability to quickly lookup vehicle information through a .NET web site.• Support and maintain all our websites. This included making updates to our older HTML based website.• Documented development environment and created development standards for future .NET websites and our mobile apps.

Supported and enhanced Staples.com Product Management Tool(PDB). The PDB is an Intranet site used by the merchandising group to maintain the content of the Staples.com web site. Using Java modules, data is imported from AS400/Text files into SQL Server 2005. Stored procedures process data in the PDB Manager and finally Java updates DB2 for Staples.com. This updated catalog is available for Staples sites before the 7 A.M. Service Level Agreement(SLA) every morning.Provided 24/7 support for the Staples.com/Staples.ca and Staples CADV(Canadian B to B site) catalog build processes. Merchants needed a quick and easy way to update data on Staples.com without going through the 4 hour build process. Created a catalog tool suite using the MVC architecture model with struts, JSP and javabeans to access the production database. This gave the merchants the ability to make updates quickly and easily.Developed, maintained and supported vendor data feeds that were sent each day. These feeds were sent to external vendors like CheetahMail, CoreMetrics, etc. for marketing Staples.com products. These feeds were developed in Visual Basic 6.0Created UNIX scripts that allowed the build process to determine which environment is currently being built. This eliminated multiple build scripts and simplified everything into one script, which could be moved from environment to environment.Worked with our offshore partners in supporting the PDB.

Supported and enhanced consumer service application in EDGE. EDGE is a customer interaction management tool.Developed reports using Crystal Reports after receiving specifications from our consumer services department. With VB 6.0, created a user interface for easier access to newly created reports.Wrote several DTS's in Microsoft SQL server to automate daily tasks. This includes sending manifests to a NY distribution center.Completed a web-based application, in Classic ASP and ASP.NET, to allow one person in the training department to manage training centers referral process. Eliminate a paper process that the consumer services department used to search class openings. The web application allowed customer service to access openings directly from their desktops.

Developed a web portal that would allow the client's website load testing product the ability to test a website from any location in the world.Using Microsoft Access, VB 6.0, ASP, SNA, XML and COM, built a web application that allowed users to enter time and attendance information for a large financial institution.Developed a manager self-service system that would add and update employee benefits information using the same technology.

Developed(ASP) Biz2Net's CommerceHubTM where users are granted secure access to their company's inventory information. CommerceHubTM stores and displays information using a web-based platform, by uploading data hourly from Biz2Net's internal manufacturing and logistics system, providing near real-time accuracy. Standard reports could be viewed in the browser or emailed as an Excel spreadsheet.

Completed development of a report scheduler using Visual C++. A WEB user interface was used to submit report requests to the schedule tables. The scheduler then polled the tables and initiated backend report engines. These engines included Crystal Reports and Peoplesoft's SQR.

Developed a system that allowed the FIRSCo's internal helpdesk to quickly update the status of reported bugs. Active Server Pages (ASP) was used to retrieve records from a Microsoft SQL server and dynamically create a list of bugs that the helpdesk could access.Created a support web site using FrontPage 97 that could be seen over Fidelity's Intranet. Provided production support for the Fidelity 401K retirement system.

Enhanced and expanded user-interface and functionality of World Class, a contact management system implementing 3-Tier architecture.Designed and constructed a VB 4.0/C++ program that allowed the data maintenance group to verify add/edits requests from the World Class application.Developed OLE automated servers for accessing Oracle database. Data accessing to Oracle was implemented using Rogue Wave, an object-oriented C++ class library for relational database applications.Performed PC and network support.
