I design and sell power generator solutions in the backup power market. We have a partnership with Kohler, the world's third largest generator manufacturer. I am responsible for organising the design of various subsystems necessary to complete the generator installation for various applications. Diesel bulk tank installation, fuel pipework, pumps, filters, control systems, exhaust pipework, emissions treatment, noise treatment, air flow supply and discharge, integration with Building Management Systems, communication protocols, logistics, project management, pricing, strategy and consumer relationships.

Part of a small team developing the powertrain platform for an electrical vehicle. Together with two other engineers we designed, prototyped, researched and developed various subsystems to create a drive-able platform. Subsystem included electric motor selection, resolver design, dynamometer to test powertrain, brake research development, sensor selection, control system design and programming, battery box design, HVAC system intergration with large Japanese investor, autonomous system integration. Was an interesting opportunity but ultimately it wasn't the right place for me straight after finishing university. Learned a lot about startups, the electric automotive industry, system design and integration and operating as a contractor.

As part of the through life support of the MRH90 helicopter fleet, I worked in the avionics and electrical systems team. I helped provide engineering support to service technicians for the 47 aircrafts owned by the Commonwealth of Australia. My daily duties involved conducting avionic hardware investigations and completing engineering documentation within a team of eight engineers. Liaising with various other disciplines and the Commonwealth of Australia representatives, in accordance with the defence and aviation regulations.
