Provide vision and leadership to a team of 50 faculty and staff, stewarding $12M in operations across 17 departments: Career Center for Life Calling; Christian Ministry; Counseling Services; Student Health Center; Office of Student and Residence Life; Student Conduct; Orientation; Fraternity and Sorority Life; Student Activities; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; International Student Services; Mail Room; Military and Veterans Resource Center; Recreation and Wellness; Safety Services; Student Services-College of Nursing; Title IX training and programming.

Inspired a shared, Christ-centered vision and provide strategic leadership to a team of 60 dedicated professionals spanning 13 departments. Oversight included the following areas of educational impact: Dean of the Chapel, Athletics (NCAA DIII), Residence Life & Housing, Campus Security, Mosaic Multicultural Center, Student Programs, Wilderness Adventures, Counseling Services, Student Health Services, Campus Store and Dining Services.

Provided vision and leadership to 5 higher ed professionals coordinating over 400 events and activities for 2,200 students. Supervision includes Greek life, Student Government/Congress - Budget Allocations, Club Sports, Major Events and Concerts and Student Union Operations. Combined budgetary responsibilities total $750,000. Significant institution-wide experience in strategic planning with emphasis in retention, admissions and student life visioneering. Areas of research included retention best practices for African American students, student leadership development and non-verbal communication.

Created and led new Center for Student Engagement including: student activities, international student programs, parent programs, 13 Greek life chapters, volunteer services, and AmeriCorps K-3 literacy programs. Supervised 4 FTE, 1 graduate assistant, and 62 part-time/student staff with a $450k budget.

Provided vision and leadership to student activities office: supervised 2 professionals, 1 administrative assistant, 35 work-studies; managed budgets totaling $350K. • Reviewed, approved and coordinated campus organizations and activities registration, space reservations, and campus publicity. • Advised 11 Greek chapters, Interfraternity and Panhellenic Councils, Order of Omega and Rho Lambda. • Supervised AmeriCorps programs including America Reads. • Adjudicated Greek disciplinary cases

• Coordinated new Volunteer Services office of 10 student workers, 1 FT AmeriCorps member, and 300 + regular student volunteers. Managed AmeriCorps reading tutoring program: 1 FT AmeriCorps member and 30 PT AmeriCorps member tutors, $150,000 federal work-study and staff budget. Coordinated weekend and late night campus events. Advised national award winning UE Leadership Academy.

Launched and maintained for 10 years the AmeriCorps/America Reads federal grant K-3 tutoring program. Introduced large scale "plunge" style volunteer days with 300-400 participants in Make A Difference Day and UE Gives Back. Both programs helped increase ongoing volunteerism among students by 35% annually.

Assisted with all programming associated with new, transfer, international students and parent orientation programs. Supervised student orientation staff. Assisted in created 3 tiered, extended FYE program that spanned from deposit to end of first semester resulting in lower summer melt and higher retention rates.
