I am an analytical chemist with a PhD in biochemistry and extensive experience in developing and validating highly sensitive targeted proteomics assays for biomedical applications using various mass spectrometry platforms (triple quadrupole, orbitrap, MALDI-TOF) and liquid chromatography configurations (nano, micro, highflow) from various vendors (Agilent, Bruker, Evosep, Thermo), and liquid handling systems (Agilent Bravo, Tecan Fluent).In my current role at MRM Proteomics I am responsible for managing day-to-day operations for client CRO projects and internal grant-funded projects, production of protein quantitation kits, as well as overseeing outsourcing of structural proteomics, metabolomics, and other projects to partner labs. In my work, I try to apply Einstein's general idea about simplicity: “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.”Besides analytical chemistry, I have great passion for business and financial analysis, and I am completing a Graduate Certificate in Financial Analysis at McGill University's School of Continuing Studies in Montreal.In my spare time, I enjoy working on home improvement projects, valuing companies, and playing with my two dogs.
