The principle function of this role was to provide leadership and strategic direction, operational and resource management of the nursing division, ensuring the smooth and efficient day to day operation of Calvary Health Care Riverina. As well as participate in the strategic planning and development for future growth of the organisation.Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and other members of the Executive team in the;Creation of organizational and operational strategic goals and objectives.Preparation of annual Local Service Plan and Budgets for both the organization and individual units.Provision of leadership guidance and mentoring of Nursing Unit Managers, Alcohol & Other Drug Managers and staff in general.Promotion of the role of Calvary Health Care Riverina and the national body Little Company of Mary Health Care to the local community. Formulation of, chairing and participation in hospital committees as per the clinical governance guidelines.Acted up as CEO for 12 weeks whilst CEO on sick leave.
