I started out working in the family business doing sales. We owned a wholesale lumber company and sold lumber to mostly trailer manufacturers. I did sales, employee management and truck dispatch. We also had a 12 truck fleet of OTR truck drivers that I dispatched. When we sold that business, I began General Contracting in the residential sector. That led me to begin doing the construction work myself. Construction slowed and I began to work at Big Tex Trailers, where I am currently. I started out in dealer sales and quickly moved to Dealer Development Manager. I was in charge of finding dealers and getting them set up with Big Tex. I was in this role for 3 years and setup over 150 new dealers for Big Tex. Big Tex was acquired by ATW and they began an outside sales team to take care of dealers and watch market share for both Big Tex and ATW. I began this role in the Southwest territory and then moved to the Central Territory. In 2020, mid COVID, it was clear that Big Tex needed some leadership to step in and help facilitate the struggles that came with procurement and production. I began my role as Sales Manager for Big Tex where I led my team to a record sales year in 2021 as well as our biggest sales month in history at Big Tex just north of $60 million. I continued working at Big Tex until 2023 when I took a job with Silverline Trailers. I am currently the National Sales Manager for Silverline Trailers helping our team grow and learn more about the trailer industry.
