In this viral vaccine group we are working on the discovery and early development of vaccines for viral infectious diseases. This includes in vitro vaccine discovery, evaluation, generation, and in vivo evaluation of these vaccine candidates in the appropriate animal models for immunogenicity or/and efficacy. Each part of the vaccine discovery process involves selection of candidate vaccines based on in vitro and in vivo evaluation. The data generated during the evaluation requires statistical analysis for proper selection of vaccine candidates.
