Rob has been involved in the sheet metal industry since 1975 and following his apprenticeship became the Sheet Metal Foreman for Metal Box in Worcester. During this period he gained experience in CAD/CAM, programming a CNC Turret Punch using the Camtek PEPS system. His skill in CAD/CAM led him to join Malvern based Camtek as an Applications Engineer, helping customers and distributors to optimise product performance worldwide, particularly in the UK, Japan and the USA.In 2000 he was actively involved in the startup of the Lantek’s UK office and joined them as Regional Sales Manager, progressing to become a Director in 2005, managing a highly skilled team of commercial and technical people. Since then, under his leadership, Lantek has built an impressive user base of over 700 clients including some of the most highly respected companies in the sheet metal sector.Lantek is the best-selling CAD/CAM supplier for the sheet metal and fabrication industry.
