Provided second level support for 200+ Z/OS Lpars including TPF, and VM operating systems. Assisted with standardization of MBNA systems and processes. In the process of furthering my technical skill set, I was chosen to participate in internal Management Training. Moved to the newly formed Banking Center support domain to help implement and utilize tools like Netscout, VAM, and MARS to ensure network availability to our centers Nationwide.

Supported Xptr suite across multiple platforms recreating customer issues to resolve functionality errors. Fielded customer inquiries along with distributing software changes. Build internal databases for multiple versioning and quality assurance. Provided Z/OS systems and storage support for development and Q/A systems.

Migrated MVS/ESA system from California to Dallas when Good Guys Inc was acquired. Coded the full system backups for the migration, and participated in the discovery phase for production control and systems support. Scheduled and support the CA-7 and CA-Unicenter environments. Configured .bat files for job triggering across platforms. Backed up, and assisted the sole systems programmer for mainframe. Interviewed and trained all operations personnel and served in a supervisory role for them.

VTAM Built and modified several switched major nodes for General Motors account. Assisted in the PU2.1 to 4.2 project, and also performed changes and installs on existing SNA connectivity. Maintained all batch and maintenance jobs for the group, fixing abended jobs and changing JCL. Performed user ID adds/changes for Netview.

Was part of the maintenance shift that did all IPL's, upgrades, and changes. Assisted with upgrade to parallel sysplex, and served as documentation control administrator to standardize processes within the command center. Accountable for virtual tape remediation, including escalation to vendors. Ran multiple printers for payroll, billing, and internal reporting.

Worked with the government accounts for EDS, with many diverse systems. Provided system resolution for VM, VSE, and MVS/ESA operating systems. Working with CA-7, Control-M, and Zeke scheduling packages for abend resolution. Assisted on the MVS to Z/OS conversion for 50+ LPARs, providing operations support. Provided operational support for three customer migrations from out of state to Plano.
