I have always been interested in technology, and learning something new. Realizing that I could make a computer do what I want it to do using code, limited only by my imagination. I love the fact that my two passions go hand in hand, with the vast array of programming languages, and technologies available, the learning opportunities are endless. While pursuing my Bachelor's at Arizona State University I worked shift work with built in overtime. Although my classes took a significant amount of my time I did not want that to be an impediment on my growth. I made advancements and went on to mentor new employees. Working and getting my degree at the same time taught me to multitask and handle stress efficiently. My courses included object oriented programming, advanced mathematics, core data structures, algorithms, and development processes. Working in teams during my school projects showed me the value of good communication, team processes such as agile and scrum, and the elegance of a project coming to fruition based on the hard work of people working together. My school gave me access to classes, people, classmates, and resources that reaffirmed my passion and fascination with technology. In my spare time I still enjoy coding and learning about new technologies.
