Bob Randolph brings a background in business, law and government to his current work designing and implementing court-connected and commercial mediation programs world-wide. Over the past twenty years, Bob has been actively involved in the international arena as a diplomat promoting democracy and governance (USAID); a business person managing companies in.

From 1998-2001 he headed the USAID Asia & Near East Bureau (Senate Confirmed) where he had responsibility for democracy and governance and conflict resolution programs in Egypt, Morocco, West Bank/Gaza, Lebanon, Jordan, Sri Lanka.

As Washington State Trade Representative from 1994-1997, Bob focused on promoting trade between Washington State and business partners in Asia, including Indonesia, and was a founder of the Seattle-Surabaya Sister City Association. He was responsible for opening new markets for Washington State businesses, leading the first U.S. trade missions to Cambodia.

• Bob was a partner at MH&B from 1978--1988 and successfully litigated civil rights, race, sex discrimination and products liability cases. He won first state court judgment in a sexual harassment case;
• Established right of state courts to award damages in federal civil rights cases, Duranceau v. Tacoma, 37 Wn. App. 846 (1984)); and won ruling that “contract clause” prohibited state from nullifying teacher salary.
