As a foundational member of the newly formed (Oct-2021) Data Strategy & Analytics team at Edgewell, our projects touch nearly every aspect of the business: from Full-Funnel analytics to automated reporting, down to the P&L. My role comprises taking data from various sources (Excels, SQL server, Snowflake, SharePoint files, Azure Blobs, etc) and in a variety of forms (time-series, structured, unstructured, semi-structured, high-level, transactional, etc) and translating those millions/billions of datapoints into actionable, insightful tools. A common project usually has the below process:1) Ingesting raw data into our systems.2) Performing Extract, Transform, and Load work to cleanse and simply the data.3) Combining data sources together to allow for as many lenses and insights as possible.4) Writing front end code to make user intractions as simple and clear as possible.5) Applying security, managing refresh rates, and updating the tools to be as efficient/user friendly as possible. It isn't reporting for the sake of reporting, as many tangible actions have taken place stemming from finalized projecs here at EPC. In partnership with Finance, IT, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other departments - projects take many shapes and sizes:Developed and currently maintaining several reports for our E-Commerce business - including real-time detection of KPIs such as sales, inventory, margin, etc. Flagging capabilities are built to alert team members of any KPI changing in a way that is troublesome. Wrote the code, designed the report, and productionalized raw data from APIs into an easily digestable and understood tool for our E-Commerce business, which includes RoAS and ROI for media spend.My expertise is in translating raw data into actionable business insights through the use of visualizations, coding, and a deep understanding of the fundamental business issue at hand.

As a lead Data Analyst in the Data Management and Analytics Department of IT, I drive full-cycle solutions to problems that Hubbell faces for various aspects of the business – from sales to operations to financial planning. I have the adaptability to attack issues in many ways and excel at deriving intuition from observations in data. I worked as a research assistant for the Citrus Research and Education Center, a research facility for UF in Lake Alfred, Florida. My research was focused on alternative crops to citrus, specifically blueberries. The paper analyzed the probability and net benefit, and ultimately a recommendation on enrolling in crop insurance policies for Florida blueberry growers. This paper was published in May of 2018.
