I have been a long time advocate for the valued role of the pharmacist in managed healthcare settings as well as traditional pharmacist settings.In 2001 I made a career shift and started up a company (with a partner) who's mission was to provide intelligent software, support services & business consulting to healthcare entities that have contractual relationships with pharmaceutical & biotech companies to help them improve their purchasing and cost savings efforts. We were successful and in 2012 sold our company to a large pharmacy benefits management interest. I am presently in "temporary retirement" mode.
