As a Nuclear Mechanic at US Navy for over five years, I have gained extensive knowledge and skills in mechanical and electrical systems, maintenance performance and scheduling, and team leadership. I have worked on several complex and high-risk operations on the submarine's reactor plant, earning a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for my exemplary performance and superior knowledge.I graduated from Nuclear Power School in 2020, where I learned the fundamentals and principles of Mechanics and Repairers, General. I have applied my education to my current role, where I have held various positions within my department, such as Planned Maintenance Scheduler, Repair Parts Coordinator, and Training and Qualifications Specialist. In these roles, I have improved the efficiency, quality, and delivery of maintenance, developed professional relationships with interdepartmental coworkers, and mentored and trained junior workers. My time in the submarine force has also taught me how to deal with high-stress environments and situations.
