Mr. Rayner is working with his partner Mr. Edward Higgins seeking to buy small Distribution and Light Manufacturing companies - EBITDA $0.5 - 1 million as well as providing advisory services. He has extensive experience in Distribution and Building Materials and working with Private Equity to add value. He is a Board member of EFG an Audax portfolio company and a Board member and member of the Compensation/Governance Committees for US Concrete, a public company. He formerly was Audit Committee Chair at USC, a boardmember of four privately held companies, Rocla International (Altus), DI (Audax), as TestEquity chairman (Evercore) and IIG, an Insulation manufacturer. Mr Rayner was President and CEO of Specialty Products & Insulation (SPI), an Evercore portfolio company, from 2004 until the sale in September 2009. SPI is one of the leading national distributors of Insulation and Architectural products in North America with 70 locations. Prior to joining SPI, from 1994 until 2002 he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Essroc Corp. a $600 million in sales and $750 million in assets producer and distributor of cement and other construction materials. Prior to becoming President in 1994, Mr Rayner was President of the Construction Materials Division and before that was CFO. He was Chairman of the Board of the Portland Cement Association in 2001.Prior to joining Essroc, for twelve years Mr. Rayner held various positions in corporate finance, treasury and international business at PepsiCo Inc. including assignments in Brazil and Japan. Before PepsiCo he was a consulting civil engineer in the U.K. for six years with two years in Oman.Mr. Rayner holds a civil engineering degree from Bristol University, England and is a member of the U.K. Institution of Civil Engineers. He has an MSc (MBA) in finance from the London Business School (LBS) and a Diploma in International Management from LBS, NYU and HEC, France. Updated: October 2017
