I am responsible for the daily oversight of activities at the New Smyrna Museum of History. In addition I oversee gift shop operations including ordering, inventory control and merchandising. I am responsible for overseeing special events including our History Book Club and Community Museum Meetings. I write grants for the museum and work at fund raising. I become the "go to" person in the museum should volunteers have questions. I work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure that the museum is seen in a positive light and that we are moving in a positive direction and toward our goals.

During my time at Follett I managed stores with sales volume ranging from $600,000 to over $6 million. I was responsible for day to day operations including staffing, inventory management, sales, payroll, achieving budgeted goals both in dollar and percentage terms, customer service and more. I was tasked with working closely with both college and company management in order to provide the best service while also achieving financial goals.
