I am a commercial real estate entrepreneur and attorney with broad strategic experience developing and operating commercial and residential properties nationwide. From 2018 to 2022 I served as Senior Vice President of Development and Construction at Onyx Equities (www.onyxequities.com). • In Ridgewood, N.J. I led the pre-development, development and leasing efforts for two ground up multifamily projects which added over 100 units to the rental housing stock. • In Newark, N.J. at Gateway Center, I led the pre-development, development and construction of a new commercial glass “Jewel box” entrance, lobby renovations and a complete renovation of the Gateway Center retail concourse and retail facilities. • In Morristown, N.J. I supervised the complete renovation of a vacant 500,000 sf office building and the installation of a 240,000 sf anchor tenant. From 2008-2018, I worked at Managing Director of Asset Management at GTIS Partners, a private equity fund headquartered in New York (see www.gtispartners.com). • I managed over $2B of debt and equity invested in the U.S. in approximately 75 residential, multi-family, retail, hotel and office assets and over 35 operating partner relationships nationwide.• I worked with the GTIS Brazil Team to develop $1.2B residential, commercial and industrial projects in Sao Paolo and Rio de Janeiro.From 1988 – 2008 I worked at Forest City Realty Trust (now part of Brookfield Asset Management). • I led the development of over 900,000 sf of big box retail projects and 800,000 sf of office projects in the City of New York.• In 2005 I started an asset management division for the NY office, where I oversaw the leasing, financing, and strategic performance of a 8.1M SF office and retail portfolio.I am an attorney licensed and in good standing in the State of New York.
