- Carve out from Armstrong Flooring • Directly responsible for strategic supplier assessment, selection, development, evaluation and management of the Indirect and Direct categories (IT, Marketing, Coatings, MRO, Limestone, Energy/Utilities). •Coordinate purchasing strategies with procurement teams in other countries. •Access supplier capabilities and their ability to support business requirements. •Identify and lead resolution on technical, operational, quality, and organizational problems. •Engage in developing and maintaining supplier contracts and contract administration. •Drive contract negotiations activities to ensure lowest total delivered cost while mitigating risk. •Support new product introduction and special project activities. •Support the development and implementation of long term sourcing strategies, as well as short term supply chain strategies. •Manage the ERP system from a corporate Purchasing Role.

• Maintain and develop supplier relationships with all assigned suppliers, as well as customer team counterparts to ensure open communication• Function as primary source of knowledge and procedures relating to the supply chain processes• Ensure resolution of all problems with orders on a timely basis• Use of customer systems and local systems to accurately monitor orders for correct items, quantities, prices, and delivery dates for Private Label products • Timely & accurate processing and follow up of all purchase orders and material inquiries from assigned suppliers with a sense of urgency to achieve our high level of customer service and satisfaction.• Create Promotional and Turn Forecasting reports for suppliers to assure accurate levels of production.

• Manage all Inventory Reduction System returns, directing the accurate and timely execution by the distribution centers. Analyze and associate problems to determine solutions and direct DC personnel, other Rite Aid departments and vendors.• Analyze inventory, manage the disposition process, and disposition execution for expense items to remove inactive items from inventory maximizing available inventory capacity. • Analyze special shipment requests, determine correct course of action, and direct distribution center execution to ensure stores receive urgently needed product.• Monitor and direct the sorting of store returns at the distribution centers to ensure accurate and efficient sorting and transportation of product. Determine solutions to problems for distribution centers, Transportation, and our third party return processors. • Manage the distribution returns salvage process including tracking status of product, directing distribution center activity, and representing Rite Aid with third party seller to execute the timely flow of product out of the distribution centers.

•Answer customers' questions about merchandise and advice customers on merchandise selection. •Itemize and total customer merchandise selection at checkout counter, using cash register, and accept cash or charge card for purchases.•Load materials and products into package processing equipment.•Affix postage to packages or letters by hand, stamp materials, using postage meters and sort mail for mailbox holders. •Print and computer jobs for customers. •Conduct finger prints for FBI background checks for customers.
