Chef Robert Rettig was born and raised in the Orlando area. He grew up in the kitchen with his great-grandmother and quickly developed a passion for cooking which remains strong today.​Chef Robert studied culinary arts at Johnson & Wales in Miami. He has had the unique experience of working with Chef David Burke, known for his role on TV's "Iron Chef." ​Chef Robert traveled for 10 years as a chef before returning to Central Florida where he stumbled upon the catering business. After accommodating personal requests for lunch deliveries, customers began asking for Chef Robert to cater their special events. Since then, he has catered events for pharmaceutical representatives, iHeart Media, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, and Tint World Orlando. Chef Robert took the lead from his customers, quickly adjusted his business model, and Crave It Love It was launched in the summer of 2016.​Chef Robert Rettig has been featured in Coastal Magazine and in 2015 was recognized for having the best burger in Central Florida!​Chef Robert notes, "food is my passion. I love meeting people and making things they like. I enjoy being challenged in making new dishes. I get great satisfaction from being asked to cater for special occasions and seeing how happy people are."
