As a Junior Software Engineer at FamHis, my role was to build React components in coordinated sprints and merge them into our beta in real-time. I pitched ideas for code improvements and coherency to our team of developers in virtual scrum meetings, and I reorganized and simplified our webpage logic and designs to establish a more user-friendly experience. I created models and ViewSets for our RESTful API in Django that interfaces with a PostgreSQL database, and I mentored an intern through pair programming and verbal code review sessions.
