I am the programmer. My job includes but not limited to. Write programs for CNC mills and lathes using MasterCam software. Machines include Fanuc robo drills, Haas mills, Hyundai-Kia dual spindle lathes, Haas dual spindle lathes, Haas barfeeder lathe, Okuma lathes. My job also requires me to quote machining parts. The quotes include material, fixtures, tooling, measuring equipment and time to do the job. I also manufacture fixtures and do the first setup and run on new jobs.

Machine precision repair parts for surface ships and submarines, using CNC and manual machines. During this assignment I was introduced to MasterCam cad/cam - version 8. I also started programming Haas vertical mills and Haas lathes. I also gained experience on VTL and HBM machines. I also was able to try out thermal ark spray and do a little metal plating.
