I am a part of the Automation Development Team where we develop PLC and Archestra code for standard facilities. Also, updating the design as needed to coincide with changes to facility design and cause and effects in our mid-continent business unit area. We also do function testing and develop standard objects for new automated equipment ensuring that the devices can be integrated into our current SCADA system.

I worked in a water flood/ polymer flood area ( Velma Ok) Natural gas area( Carter Knox, OK) and Oil area (Pampa TX and Midland TX) I was responsible for the Automation portion of small projects and give Field Automation support on larger scale projects. I commissioned and troubleshoot communications and SCADA systems; as well as, help train Operations personnel on the use, maintenance, and repair of SCADA systems/equipment. I also managed the servers and callout systems for each of the areas. During this time I was also the Automation point of contact for the divestment of assets to ensure a smooth transition to the purchasing customer in Oklahoma and Panhandle fields.As a Lean Sigma Greenbelt, I try to find ways to optimize operations and help save money with simple Automation solutions.
