I am a mechanical engineer with experience in the design and manufacture of mechanical systems since 2000. I am currently a lead mechanical design engineer at Gichner Shelter Systems in Dallastown, PA. As lead engineer I regularly interface with other organizations/ department throughout the company as well as vendors and our customers. Within the engineering organization I am involved in all aspects of product life cycles from design, modeling and creating drawings for new products to supporting the manufacture of mature products on the shop floor. I am also responsible for analyses required to support our products, including performing structural FEA analysis. As the lead engineer I am also responsible for the engineering budget and schedule for each of the jobs that I support.
