Current•Inspection of new storm sewer, tile and drainage construction. Bridge construction, repairs and repainting projects. Full depth roadway construction as well as rehabilitation projects. Concrete, asphalt and aggregate inspection and testing for proper placement and specifications. •Inspect and record all work performed on construction site by contractors and track quantities of all materials used for compliance, installation and payment.•Investigate and respond to complaints or inquiries submitted by the general public, private industry, contractors, inspectors and others; confers with contractors, inspectors and citizens. •Computer use on a daily basis: Site Manager, Microsoft Office, Windows. •Perform labor and data collection as needed in the area of maintenance, inspection, repair, and construction.•Daily operation of machinery used in roadway construction and maintenance.•Removal of debris as needed on roadways and roadsides for public safety.•Operation of many types of hand tools: Shovels, rakes, chainsaws, trimmers, mechanic tools, carpentry tools, etc.•Operation of dump truck/snow removal equipment: snow plow, salt spreader.
