Roots from a Small Fishing town on the Maine Coast. Matured while fishing summers on Lobster boats. Attended Maine Maritime as a 21 Yr old freshman. Graduated a Semester early.Worked as 2nd Engineer on the Deep-water Drilling project for R&B Falcon & Conoco Phillips, DW Millennium. Worked both Maritime Unions. With AMO I learned Slow Speed Diesels on Tankers, & Pre-positioning Ships. With MEBA I worked Exclusively as Chief Engineer on Diesel Electric Govt Contract ships. Took 2 years off to Work shore side with Maine Biofuel International.Started SeaChange with small group from MBFI, R&D for Industrial Fuels. Came back to work in the Oil Exploration Industry for better Schedules and home time with family. Expertise is New Build Start ups and Team building successful Engineering and Maintenance teams. Was Shell's Alaska Marine Contract Manager working on Arctic offshore oil exploration in Alaska. Currently Sailing Chief Eng on Tanker Security Program for Seabulk on Eco Class MR Tanker internationally while teaching marine engineering at Star Center on my time off.
