About Robert Ringoen
I started at Principal creating web applications that were front ends for mainframe subsystems. This provided employees self service functionality without using the mainframe emulators. I made contributions to that team for 7 years before transitioning into a role administrating IBM WebSphere on Linux. The team I joined were mainly System Administrators so my primary focus there was to use my development experience to create infrastructure as code for the WebSphere runtime. I helped managed the source code repositories and created some new development standards for the team to use. From there i went into the role of Scrum Master coaching a development team and working with the product owner to ensure work was completed and met requirements. I am a Certified Scrum Master with Scrum Alliance. I recently took on the responsibility of Product owner and HR manager. I am now the Product Owner for the Mainframe Systems taking input from business units and helping to guide the direction for the 'Mainframe of the future'.
