Duties: Responsible for the development and operation of structures to support the Company's global and national objectives| To develop the idea of Information and technology as a critical Supply Chain component, thus positively impacting Company decisions and operations globally. Responsible for the identification, conception, and execution of projects of significant company impact with regards to Supply chain processes, data flow, management and technology. This includes direct management of Information Services team personnel and direction.Additionally, to provide guidance to and support of the Company's Global Technology footprint; Such as the development of technology infrastructure strategies, global and regional business resumption strategies, and the governance of resultant projects and/or operations.Relationships: Works directly with the Company's CIO. This position is additionally responsible to maintain influential relationships with other members of the executive staff, plant managers, and heads of department. Additional requirements include the direction, mentorship, and coaching of other company team leaders.

• Responsible for Network operation, Implementation, and management of globally distributed network, including daily operation and business challenges for 4 separate Date centers. • Network security, detection, and mitigation of attacks for over 70,000 internet facing servers. • Design, deployment, and troubleshooting of customer private and shared cloud environments and distributed VPN solutions. Responsible for the design, and configuration creation of hardware, as well as the implementation of the client’s physical and logical networks. • Administration, and lifecycle management of all manner of Cisco, Arbor, VMware Virtualized networks, and Juniper network elements for a leading edge, globally distributed Internet hosting provider. • Point of escalation for teams of globally distributed employees. • Sample network technology list (not inclusive) • Cisco nexus 7710, 5648. • Cisco asa 5505,5510,5515. Peoria, Illinois Area

Responsible for the technical and logistics of Global technology Deployment, Operation, maintenance, and Disaster recovery for Caterpillar's Production Global area network. • Global Disaster recovery plan implementation. • configuration and deployment of Caterpillar’s global DMVPN network solution, including creation of configurations for both hub and spoke elements. Extensive experience in DMVPN, and more classic VPN troubleshooting and configurations. • Configuration and deployment of Caterpillar’s Riverbed traffic manager scheme and devices. • Participation in projects associated with network Risk management, Site deployments, and maintenance.

Bloomington/Normal, Illinois Area

Responsible for the design, implementation, and upkeep of Naming and IP addressing for State Farm. • Design, Implementation, and upkeep of IPAM solution, DNS and DHCP appliances, Wins naming services, and Internet DNS naming services. • Participation in projects for new direction, and integration of technology direction for enterprise projects when utilizing IP or address services. Specifically, IPv6 strategy and design.

Peoria, Illinois Area

Responsible for the design, implementation, construction, operational policies and financial modeling of Global area Networks, Data Centers, Delivery Centers, and Customer connectivity. • Design, Implementation, and upkeep of multiple redundant, globally positioned data centers, including Lan, Wan, Environmentals, and supporting network structures. • Design, Implementation, and operation of several global area networks for Caterpillar dealers, and Accenture offices. • Design, and operation of public and private IP addressing schemes, and public and private DNS structures. • Network Architect: Responsible for the specification, design, implementation, and upkeep of the Accenture office networks and Caterpillar Dealer hosting Data centers with facilities in Peoria, Manila, Buenos Aeries, and Dublin.
