My dream is to create "Architecture that is light as the air" and in some "Lightweight Membrane Structures" I can find such lightness!Having graduated in Computer Science and Architecture in 2001 at the Vienna University of Technology, I started a close cooperation with internationally renowned architects.In 2006 I founded the Formfinder Software GmbH in Vienna Austria.Since 2007 I am legally certified engineer.Up to 2008 I have been directing competence at the institute of industrial software. Since 2008 I am teaching at the Institute of Interdisciplinary Construction Process Management with Professor Achammer at the Vienna University of Technology. From 2004 to 2013 I have been a Partner at the Wehdorn Architekten. From 2009 to 2013 I was chairman of the "Architecture and Planning" section of the Austrian Association of Engineers- and Architects (OIAV www.oiav.at).In the year 2010 I initiated the first international post graduate Masters of Engineering Program at the Vienna University of Technology http://mls.tuwien.ac.at and I continue to deliver lectures, develop the curriculum and overall direction of the program.The design and engineering of Lightweight Membrane Structures and the related on-going research and development of new solutions in this field, is my prime objective for the professional and academic career. I am involved in products like the new TENNECT cable fitting www.tennect.com or the new ForFlexx www.forsstrom.com welding technology which enables the direct welding of a membrane to metal applications.Since 2014 Simon Chiu, Horst Dürr and I founded the TensileEvolution Ziviltechniker GmbH (Civil Eng.) based in Vienna, Konstanz and Los Angeles.CurrentlyI am working internationally as a planner and consultant on major projects involving Membrane Lightweight Structures.´Perfection, then, is finally achieved, not when there is nothing left to add, but whenthere is nothing left to take away.´ Antoine de St. Exupery
