I have taken on the role of Multimedia Coordinator in addition to my role as Editor of Dodd Frank Update. After several months working with the well-respected subject matter expert and OR Chief Knowledge Officer Mary Schuster and overseeing the creation of marketing content and audio and visual production for the company's Keys to Real Estate podcast, launched in May 2024. I also create marketing assets (short, captioned video clips; show notes; episode titles, etc.) to promote the podcast on social media, major podcasting platforms (Spotify, Apple, Amazon) and YouTube. Other hats I wear include, to varying degrees, social media marketing, photographer and event support. The content I write and produce is targeted to a highly engaged audience of mortgage lenders, public policy attorneys and other housing industry professionals. I track content engagement using Google Analytics and utilize this information for strategic content planning and marketing purposes.

Resuming my role as Editor of Dodd Frank Update, writing, editing and interviewing top attorneys and industry insiders for a dozen articles spread across two email campaigns weekly, under the guidance of an experienced and supportive Editorial Director. I also create special reports and occasionally moderate live webinars about impactful topics. In my second stint with the company, I took on several multimedia projects which ultimately led to a formal transition into a dual role in November 2024.

Cleveland, Ohio, United States

This role entailed the creation and supervision of all aspects of marketing and communications for the Greater Cleveland affiliate of Habitat for Humanity and its three ReStore retail locations, including a newly launched store in Amherst. The affiliate has numerous departments with distinctly different operations that all serve the same mission: to expand affordable homeownership opportunities in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties. With very little direction or on-boarding, and no set budget, I created and distributed a variety of informative promotional materials highlighting the ways in which the affiliate's various departments and ReStores support the organization's mission. I worked closely with multiple department heads and managers across the organization to understand how their functions align with the mission.Notable Responsibilities/Accomplishments: * Cause Marketing: Created and distributed press releases, social media graphics, and marketing emails promoting fundraising campaigns and programs, including the 2022 EOY Giving Campaign, Cars for Homes, Freewill, Donatos, etc. * Event Marketing: Press releases, social media graphics, postcards, and marketing emails promoting major events, including home dedications, ground-breakings, 2023 fundraiser, and 400 Home Strategic Initiative Kickoff. * Publications: All elements of the 2023 Spring Habitat Happenings Newsletter, which received praise from Habitat for Humanity of Ohio as an example to be shown to other Ohio affiliates. * Social Media Marketing: Launched new Facebook pages for two of three ReStores and a Pinterest account. Managed the affiliate's Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter accounts.* Video/Graphics: Utilized Adobe Creative Suite and Canva to produce promotional graphics and video. * Management: Hired and trained one coordinator whose skills and experience aligned with the company's marketing needs and, therefore, was able to meaningfully contribute immediately.

I managed a variety of communications channels that interface with the public with minimal oversight or direction. This included content creation and curation for the mayor's bi-monthly newsletter, as well as the city's nine social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn), website, community access (PEG) channel and HARR radio station. I handled media inquiries and offer insight and advice regarding best content practices for communicating with the public through various mediums. I also was tasked with creating promotional content and providing coverage for city events. These tasks entailed a significant amount of writing, photography and videography. This job helped enable me to build my proficiency with a host of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, most notably Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat, as well as others such as Media Encoder, Audition, After Effects, etc. Notable Projects/Accomplishments: * Led a team in redesigning the official city website to improve its overall look and ease of use.* Implemented and helped manage a total of three new social media channels per the request of department heads.* Recommended and oversaw implementation of a replacement PEG channel broadcast system.* Wrote and implemented a citywide Employee Social Media Policy in collaboration with the mayor, legal department and human resources.* Produced numerous promotional and PSA videos for the city.

I handled writing, editing and social media duties for Dodd Frank Update, a B2B publication which provides in-depth coverage of regulatory and legislative news affecting the financial industry. My work was published online and distributed to paying subscribers via two weekly email newsletters and in a monthly print edition. I wrote features, news articles and editorial notes, conducted interviews, copyedited my colleagues' work, helped produce webinars and recorded and edited video. I traveled to 3-4 other industry-specific conferences, providing live social media updates, including photos and video, as well as session recaps and on-site interviews. The editorial staff also was involved in putting on October Research's annual National Settlement Services Summit (NS3) conference. Cleveland/Akron, Ohio Area

I reported on a variety of news topics and high school sports in the southern suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. I wrote straight news articles, features and game stories tailored for publication online and in print. I also managed multiple social media pages, providing live updates from sporting events, city council meetings and other events. I ultimately moved into a full-time sportswriter role, which added layout and editing duties on top of my writing, game coverage and social media responsibilities. When Advance Publications merged Sun Newspapers and Cleveland.com in August 2013 to form what was then known as The Northeast Ohio Media Group (now Advance Ohio), I was among a handful of reporters offered a full-time position with the new company. My title changed from "reporter" to "producer" and I was primarily responsible for high school sports coverage. I became more active in videography and photography during this time while continuing to write extensively. I also hosted and assisted on podcasts, conducted on-camera interviews and posted real-time social media updates from live sporting events, including photos and Vine videos. I also recorded game footage and interviews and edited them for publication using iMovie. My department put on annual media day events for local high school football and basketball teams. I worked alongside colleagues on various duties involved with organizing the event and overseeing different aspects of its execution. Neighborhood Voice is a print newspaper that covers news and current events in the Greater University Circle area of Cleveland, OH. This included neighborhoods such as Fairfax, Hough, Glenville, Buckeye-Shaker, Little Italy, Central and East Cleveland. My duties as Staff Writer included writing, reporting, fact-checking and copy editing as well as fielding story ideas for the publication.Notable Projects/Accomplishments:* Curated content for a special community events calendar edition for our entire coverage area
