Historian, researcher, analyst, and field investigator for a wide variety of projects, worldwide, that result in the successful location, recovery, identification, and repatriation of remains for missing service members of the United States Armed Forces, from World War II. Leading other historians and researchers in a comprehensive research analysis project, associating unidentified (Unknown) remains interred in U.S. and foreign cemeteries, with potential individuals of the U.S. Armed Forces who remain unaccounted for. The project includes the use of ArcGIS and other data analysis software. ArcGIS assists with the association process of matching unidentified (Unknowns) recovery locations with last known locations of unaccounted-for service members. Individual case summary reports are compiled through the use of various historical sources to include archival textual records, maps, aerial photography, dental records, and local intelligence to name a few. The burial locations for each Unknown has been given their correct X-number and verified through separate sources to include X-Files, Headstone Inscription Cards obtained from NARA Record Group 117, and with the help of ABMCs external affairs and cemetery superintendents. Provided a presentation for the World War II Families for the Return of the Missing (WWRM) at their North East states symposium, during November, 2014, in order to assist families conducting their own historical research into the loss of the relative.

Conducted over 2200 hours of in person archival research at the National Archives and Records Administration II (NARA II), College Park, Maryland; the Air Force Historical Research Agency (AFHRA), Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama; and the U.S. Army War College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Participated in the recovery operation of “Cemetery 27”, on Betio Island, Tawara Atoll, resulting in the recovery of 36 intact sets of U.S. Marine skeletal remains, missing since 1943. Conducted a month long investigative search effort for missing U.S. Marines on Betio Island, Tarawa Atoll, resulting in locating numerous potential sites in which the remains of lost or missing U.S. Marines may exist. Conducted numerous month long investigative search efforts for missing U.S. service members throughout Western Europe, resulting in locating a large number of crash sites, as well as potential isolated burial sites. Serves as the organization’s sole representative at many funerals for recently recovered U.S. service members. Established a long-term partnership with the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) to assist them with various historical research projects of their own. Projects include their “Remains Recovered Rosette” program, and the electronic database entry. Currently assisting with identifying the names on their walls of the missing who have since been accounted for, who yet have a rosette placed by their name. Additionally, assisting with identifying names of those interred in their cemeteries or memorialized on their walls of the missing, who have been mistakenly left out from their electronic database entry.

Conduct pre-participation health screening, maximal and submaximal graded exercise tests, and performs strength, flexibility and body composition tests for patients and clients challenged with cardiovascular, pulmonary, and metabolic diseases and disorders. Designs, prescribes, and supervises individualized exercise programs for patients returning from cardiovascular surgeries, and those with acute and chronic pulmonary disorders.

Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Executive Officer for a company, consisting of over 40 noncommissioned officer and 60 junior enlisted Soldiers. Supervises and manages the maintenance of equipment, administration, and supply of the company. Responsible for the company security and defense forces in remote hostile environments to include directing traffic checkpoints and detaining hostile personnel. Assisted the company commander with planning training events to include weapons marksmanship ranges. Coordinated with the Battalion Maintenance Control Officer to ensure all maintenance services were conducted on time and equipment is capable of performing required tasks. Worked with the company supply sergeant to ensure all needed equipment and supplies were available when needed. Worked with the Company First Sergeant to ensure all company administrative tasks were completed. Lead the company in the absence of the company on numerous occasions.

Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Battalion Ammunition Officer of a Field Artillery Battalion consisting of over 500 Soldiers. Responsible for the planning, supervision, security, management, and assessing the safe distribution of all ammunition throughout the battalion; security of all ammunition storage facilities and areas; resourced all battalion training events with appropriate amounts of ammunition, lands, ranges, facilities, and air space, ensuring all training events were executed on time. Responsible for the safe and on ¬time distribution of nearly $1,200,000 worth of ammunition to all training events across the battalion throughout a ten-month period. Responsible for the professional development of two noncommissioned officers.

Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Platoon Leader of a Distribution Platoon consisting of 15 Non-Commissioned Officers and 30 junior enlisted Soldiers. Overall responsible for the planning, leader development, supervision, and accession of training consisting of remote location security operations in hostile environments. Training of security operations consisted of vehicle protection for unexploded bombs and hostile personnel. Additionally, responsible for the planning of numerous convoys measuring in distances of over 400 miles with no accidents or injuries. Managed and supervised the distribution of nearly $600,000 worth of ammunition throughout the corporation that consisted of more than 500 Soldiers during the course of a six-month period. Responsible for the professional development of the senior non-commissioned officer of the platoon. Accountable for 33 vehicles and 25 trailers with a value in excess of $6,000,000.

Platoon Leader of a Light Infantry Rifle Platoon consisting of 13 Non-Commissioned Officers and 22 Soldiers. Planned, lead, supervised, and assessed the training consisting of numerous small arms weapons ranges, land navigation, communications, physical fitness, squad and platoon level live fire exercises, and infantry battle drills leading up to an operational deployment to Sinai, Egypt, as part of the Multinational Force Observers (MFO) Mission. Responsible for the professional development of the senior enlisted member of the platoon.

Worked under the supervision of the head and assistant athletic trainers and supervises the care of student athletes competing in the College’s athletic program. Responsible for the prevention, evaluation, management, and rehabilitation of injuries within the University’s comprehensive sports medicine program.Primary responsibilities include the prevention of athletic injuries and illnesses; evaluation of athletic injuries; treatment of athletic injuries; providing counseling and education to student athletes; administrative duties to include record keeping and documentation; assist with coordination and scheduling of medical coverage for home and away competitions; work with doctors and other allied health professionals to deliver care to student athletes.Designed and implements a static stretching program for all athletes to perform after physical activity to aid in the prevention of injuries, and quicker soreness recovery.
