I teach to Chinese nationals for whom English is a second language. Since 2011 I have taught AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics. My results have been very successful with averages between 4.98-4.6, I have also had a student be one out of 15 in the world to receive a 100% on the AP Microeconomics exam. I also teach Advanced economics. Advanced economics is a class of my own creation that teaches students many advanced concepts from public choice economics, basic econometrics, law and economics, new institutional economics, growth theory, behavioral economics, and intermediate microeconomics. My teaching style is based on encouraging students understanding of theories, and getting them to think like economists with a little emphasis placed on practice and memorization. My goal is to encourage students passion for learning, and give them a strong foundation for studying economics in American university, my belief is that strong AP scores will naturally follow.
